What are your soaps made with?

Our soaps are handmade, cold-process bars using a base of ethically-sourced Australian tallow, olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil to create a long-lasting bar of soap with a creamy lather and silky bubbles that doesn't dry out your skin.

We also use clays, charcoal, coffee, honey, tea and roots and seeds and other botanicals for colour and cleansing.

We use a mix of essential oils and body-safe and phthalate-free fragrance oils to create unique scent experiences.
Are your soaps strongly scented?

Not in a “I can smell the soaps from three rooms away” kind of way.

Our soaps are scented to make your shower feel nice while you’re actually using them. In real, handmade soap the scent naturally softens over time as the bars cure and age.

Some scents are stronger than others, but in general expect:

  • A softer, closer-to-the-skin scent experience
  • Gentle scent while lathering and washing
  • Less intense fragrance than candles or wax melts
  • A more natural, grounded feel instead of overpowering perfume

If you love super strong, room-filling fragrance, look for future Swampy products that will be catered to the scent-seeking goblins!
Where are your products made?

Our soaps are handmade in small batches from our home soap studio in Canberra, Australia also known as Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country.

Do you post internationally?

We do! We post to most countries in the UK, EU, Asia and to New Zealand.

Due to shipping and insurance limitations, we don't currently ship to the USA or Canada.
